You get your money's worth in the late evening news. They play the networked news, often involving the sport, then TS' own sports reader tells you the same information two minutes later.

They have so many irritating newsreaders it can't be an accident, they must actively seek them out! Victoria Bourne must be the smuggest-sounding newsreader out there. No matter what the subject is, she speaks as though she can barely finish the report without breaking off to snigger and/or stroke herself adoringly.
