Remember when people were saying 'the establishment' wouldn’t allow Boris to become leader. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Boris was the Brexit supporting establishments choice from the outset. They rubbished his opponents. Now they want to install him without letting Conservative members have a vote. A total stitch up.
The should be a General Election ASAP.

Judging by some of the posts from the left on here over the last few days, there is some serious twitching going on

Good point, Steve’s on holiday but I hope when he returns, he reminds us that the establishment will stop a no deal Brexiteer from coming into power when the Conservative establishment seem to want to allow the cunt get in uncontested.

By the establishment, we mean the Tory Party. The oldest, longest-serving political party in government of any representative democracy in history.
They don't want to be blamed for no deal. I'm convinced they only talk about it because they know Parliament will stop it.
If the Tories took us out of Europe with no deal Labour, The Brexit Party Ltd, LibDems, Greens, SNP, Republic of Ireland, EU, USA and all the rest would blame them for every negative thing that happened afterwards. They've all been in government and have read the analysis that shows it'll be an economic crisis.
They don't want that shit. They don't want no deal.

Re: Mexit : Consevative Leadership Contest
Why are the 1922 Select Committee so cowered by Boris and his cronies? Just can’t understand it when just 10 days ago in a decisive campaign, about sixteen candidates had put their hat into the ring and there were widespread comments that there would be no time between then and the end of July to get a consensus leader in.
Now, this idiotic plonker seems to be given the green light to become leader.

I love how these people being portraited by the Tories as the best and brightest of their leadership talent. They've been manoeuvred into a position they know is bullshit by a race-baiting twat with MEPs who want the final solution for the gay problem and to stop the government taking down online videos of babies being raped.
We're all fucked.
If they were real leaders they'd tell the country Brexit isn't going to be as quick as anyone liked and explain it. We'd still leave and with our eyes wide open. But that's too hard and we don't want a PM that wants to do hard stuff do we?

Because a very small swing to the Brexit Party Ltd puts them out of power. I can't believe it'll happen.

Some on the other side still seem to be very upset about a joke that a 61 year old woman made. Have you gone away and addressed your life yet?

Don't be so dramatic. A lot of people only get fucked if they bend over.

Yeah, I got upset about it. Not because who said it and who she wanted the victim to be, that would have been the case whoever it was. Acid attacks can kill, maim and ruin the lives of a victim. It was a disgrace.
What was also a disgrace, was that she had no intention of admitting that she was a cunt to do it, she even said afterwards, and is still doing so, that it wasn't a mistake and it was a fantasy of hers.
If jim Davidson had said that about, let's say Harriet Harman, the left would have been spitting Roman candles.
It's the hypocrisy and double standards which are extremely annoying.
