There are some very valid reasons people can't quote research they claim exists to support an opinion:

1. It doesn't exist.
2. It does exist but its a secret
3. You have it, but you obtained it as a member of a hacking collective and don't want to expose yourself to law enforcement.
4. The dog ate it

Or, returning to the world of common sense for a moment, perhaps it is either self evident or so clear that it doesn't justify formal research.
Eg. The sun sets in the West, there is water in the Pacific Ocean , kangaroos know how to jump.

How do you calculate the cost of Blue Badge fraud?
The cost of printing badges fraudulently used, the cost of posting them, the lioss of parking fees, the loss of congestion zone fees?
Someone must know.

Theft has gone up 45% in the last year, and soon there will be a lot more badges about to steal. Apparently they have just announced a review into the abuse to coincide with the new scheme.

The new scheme is bonkers. People with dementia will get a badge, but should those people be driving at all. Also those with anxiety, but there isn't much more of a subjective illness about than that. Is it even an illness. The system is not policed properly now so chaos will ensue.
