So we have just eleven outfield players available for the Arsenal game on Saturday (and some of them are playing with injuries). And three of the eleven are from the under-23 squad. :(

Woods
Tomkins
Cahill
Kelly
McArthur
Kouyate
McCarthy
Kirby
Wickham
Ayew
Pierrick

Lump on the Arsenal. :x

I feel your pain, Reg

We have:

Lloris out till February
Ndombele who knows
Kane out till March
Sissoko out till April
Davies out till February or March

Which isn't great. But then you have to factor in that Rose, Jan, Toby, Davi, Eriksen, Dele & Winks are all playing like they've never seen a ball before.

A great performance from Leeds on Monday night. Fabulous support too. Really should have put the tie to bed in the first half. If Leeds, which they should, gain promotion, watch out Premier League... Scalps will be taken.

Thanks Sinbad. My flatmate, who is an Arsenal fan, was full of praise too. I hope Arteta does well - he does seem a top top man.

I know exactly what you're going through.

BTW, that list is the players who are available, not the injured ones.

I doubt that fans of other clubs have even heard of some of them.

Amazingly, given the this injury crisis has been going on for weeks, we are actually above Arsenal in the league.

That will change on Saturday after they hammer us though..

Will keep my eyes open for Sinbad.

I’ve yet to spot him at Selhurst or the Emirates, but I live in hope.

Does he go to away matches?

Quite bizarre that Danny Murphy didn’t think it was a red card. I guess it’s only when the ankle is broken.

Yeah, and Lineker seemed to agree. :?

Even the Arsenal fans all thought it was a straight red.

We’ve had two reds this season for violent/dangerous play/behaviour.

One was just for a follow-through with high foot when playing the ball in the air, and the other was for putting his face in the opponent’s face (no actual contact) after being kicked in the bollocks while on the floor.

Neither was remotely as bad as yesterday’s tackle, yet it took VAR ages to decide it.

There should be an enquiry into the referee helping Arsenal by sending off Luiz.
