Just starting games far too passively at the moment. Against the likes of Copenhagen it’s recoverable but Sevilla are obviously a cut above.

Best bet would be implement the tight pressing and ultra direct counter attacking which worked so well against City this season. And Pogba needs to push upfield more often. Never thought I’d say this but he’s almost been too disciplined of late playing in the deep lying two with Matic. It’s creating too large a gap between them and Fernandes.

I certainly can’t be arsed with another 90 minutes of Wan-Bissaka and Williams trying to be the major attacking threats out wide. As good as they’ve both been in their defensive responsibilities, going forward Robertson and Alexander-Arnold they are NOT.

We represented the English nation with honours. Not limped out in Round 1.
A 13 month campaign, 17 game campaign and 32 goals. Not to be sniffed at.
But Europa is not a fun slog . Won't miss it too much. Will have to make do with the games v Albion. Those will be more fun.
