And yes I do have a source, - you will struggle to find any recent comparison for all violent crime, - the pretext is that different countries have different methods of recording.
The most recent stats I've managed to find are dated 2001, - a report called 'international comparisons of criminal justice statistics'.
I would greatly like to see a more recent one, but I guess they don't bother anymore.

That's why I was referring to violent crime in general rather than homicides - the figures are just (relatively) too low to mean very much, for instance, on your list, gibraltar has a higher homicide rate than anywhere else in europe - they had one murder.
