Northamptonshire Police to arm every officer with a Taser after 'sickening' attacks

Chief constable Nick Adderley said his decision was not "taken lightly" but that officers had suffered "life-changing injuries".

It makes me laugh that they think they are getting tough by putting someone in jail after two attacks, and why just police officers. Anyone who is found guilty of an assault should be stuck inside imo, and thus have a criminal record.
