Kudos to them for all getting the same day off work.

Indeed.
We all want to 'save the planet', - why do children think they have the answers when they have yet to have a life.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

These people camping out in Westminster and on the bridges......I know they have cooking facilities.

But what about toilet and washing facilities?

I shudder to think
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

I thought we were going to try and keep this debate civil and grown up.

That is the kind of comment that leads conversations down the rabbit hole

Well you asked Pet. I've had the displeasure of walking past some of these people on Parliament Square, and they stank to fuck. Just stating a fact.

'Crusties', wasn't that what Bojo said? Not heard that since the old Poll tax Riots and Criminal Justice Bill actions. Good times, fun days. When protesting did change things.

Note that, XR.

So, it looks like you are going to make an issue about it, then try and blame me when the thread goes down the crusties. That won't wash, just like the protesters. :D

October 21st 2018, I know it was then because I went to see Jeff Lynne at the O2 that day. Some of the protesters then will be the same as those stinking out Westminster bridge, and probably haven't had a wash since. :D

For all those pushing the electric car agenda:

https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/24/tesl ... Bdzcbtgpho

A Tesla Model 3 is touted as a zero-emissions car by government regulators, but it actually results in more carbon dioxide than a comparable diesel-powered car, according to a recent study.
When the CO2 emissions from battery production is included, electric cars, like Teslas, are “in the best case, slightly higher than those of a diesel engine, and are otherwise much higher,” reads a release from the German think tank IFO.
