Copa Libertadores Final

Post by Carlos J »

First one off final (last years wasn't supposed to be and the change came in before that) held in Lima though was supposed to be in Santiago but moved because of political unrest.

Well I'll be watching. Live on BBC2, kick off 8pm.

Oh I forgot about this.

I can thoroughly recommend the YouTube channel World's Greatest Derbies vid for the Boca Juniors vs River Plate clusterfuck from last year. Gobsmacking stuff.

Not sure of indivduals height and weight, kancut. As Vickery always say, will be young buck not poached by Europe yet and old vets back from Europe and a few middling players inbetween.

Just gonna enjoy the spectacle and hope for a decent game.

Jesus, that looks like some weird stadium, more boxes than terraces, six tiers all round the ground, and there's a lot of terraces.

Commentators say there's more red and black than red and white. Drone pictures from above prove otherwise.

Not sure if in Lima. Was in Buenos Aires for the World Football Phone In this morning. Might have got a near 5 hour flight this morning but surely better to be there the night before. :?

As I like Boca more, mon Flamengo. But then I had a Peñarol Subbuteo team so a tad confused even though Uruguayan.

As an aside, did anyone have the Subbuteo posters as a kid?:
