is there a Chrome App that will take a snippet / snapshot of a picture and then host it with a link?

Postimage.org.
You can either do it online or download an app onto your PC so that when you press prt sc on your keyboard it'll work.
It brings up a little box so you can move it over the part of the screen you want to take a snapshot of and it'll bring up a box where you can choose to upload it and it'll give you a link, save it to your laptop or print it out.
It's what I use on here. It's a great little app.

SnagIt and snipboard are your friends.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good, before that I'd have to save it, then go to a photosharing site.
