Best of luck with the op, Vespa.

Still waiting for a date, looks like it may not be this year now. Going in later today to have my port accessed for chemo tomorrow, we're going to pick them up some doughnuts on the way.

Nice one, Vespa especially on the buying the cakes. The NHS is the greatest thing is the country has ever created - that sounds a bit boomer-ish ; but its probably the only thing I am proud about of being British.

Very sorry to hear that, Vespa :(

What's the plan - additional chemo?

Markers go up and down, the scans I had last time showed it was stable and even reducing a little. I've another four cycles and more scans which are the gold standard diagnostic tool that tells my doctors what's going on.

At some point, my cancer will develop chemoresistance and I'll transition into the dying faster mode.

Not there yet.

I'm glad to hear that, Vespa - that doesn't even feel like the right thing to write, but I'm happy about the last three words.

Ekkert mál, maðurinn minn. Konan mín ólst upp í Uppsala, ég veit það ekki af hverju er að skrifa á móðurmál hennar, en ég get lesið smá ´Skandinaviska´ Dansk-Norsk-Sænsk.
