I got a bit of a kicking on D&D some time ago, but you either let it go or admit that maybe the other geezer has a point. Or both.

I did actually apologise for upsetting him (which wasn’t my intention).

But the whole thing was a ridiculous over-reaction.

I, and many other people on this forum, have received far worse “abuse” without throwing a massive paddy.

In fact Carc is a model poster in the sense that he never lets criticism bother him in the slightest.

Both of those statements are true, in my opinion.
I can't even remember what it was about now, but I remember thinking at the time how thankful I am to have Jim's Rule of Three, whereby if I post the same thing three times then I let Other Bloke have the last word.
