So where was Hamilton when Vettel won 4 straight years from 2010-2013 ?

The same reason why Hamilton won previously.
Since Senna.....it was always the car that wins titles.
In Britain, Jim Clark was the greatest.
In the world Senna or Fangio.

Precisely JD...there are always exceptions but cream tends to rise to the top and the best teams/cars attract the best drivers.
