Sorry, I thought you'd watch the video and twig the reference. In interviews, Rogan often asks his producer Jamie to research or "pull up" content – videos, articles, etc.

It seems that Dwayne the rock Johnson, who had previously supported Rogan, threw him under the bus over an out of context compilation of clips of Rogan saying nigger.
Cue a crapload of clips of Johnson doing similar going back years.

Rogan sold his show and is now essentially employed by a massive media company. It's pretty obvious that comparing black neighbourhoods to the Planet of the Apes wasn't going to fly. What I don't understand is why Spotify or Rogan's company go through these shows and remove episodes they must have known would be highlighted - seems a dumb omission.

Didn't realise until I watched it for the first time recently just how bad his stand up is. Basically dick jokes and frat boy humour.

When he has a compelling guest on his podcast it's fantastic. Bit hit and miss though and really don't care for the MMA/conspiracy theorist stuff. Joey Diaz is fantastic though.

He does long-form interviews which are nice, but the ratio of half-wit to hero is pretty bad so you have to pick and choose which ones to listen to. I think it's fair to say that his podcast has sparked off other long-form podcasts that wouldn't have existed without him.
