Re: Your club’s top 5 best & worst managers you’ve seen
Don Revie is before my time so...
1. Wilkinson (Just for the title win)
2. Bielsa (the best football I've ever seen at Leeds)
3. O'Leary (Should have won something)
4. Graham (Would have won something had he stayed/been backed)
5. Grayson (Pulled the club up from its lowest ebb)
Monk just misses out here, as he's the only other one who's been half decent these past 15 years.
Worst (take your pick!)
1. Warnock (We'd have gone down had he not been put out of his misery. Never liked Leeds and the fans never liked him)
2. Heckingbottom (Bizarre three month appointment out of his depth - staggering going from him to Bielsa)
3. Evans (Embarrassing to look at, embarrassing to have as manager - league 2 standard)
4. Hockaday (Employed by a coked up lunatic - the most random appointment ever who had zero business being at Leeds)
5. Venables (Past his sell by date, sold Dacourt, replaced him with Okon...nearly got a top 6 squad relegated)
Reid just misses out on the worst list.

Re: Your club’s top 5 best & worst managers you’ve seen
Moyes
Van Gaal
Mourinho
Big Ron
Ole
They’re the only other managers besides Fergie, on the assumption that Giggs’ four games as caretaker don’t count. Even then I was less than a month old when Big Ron left.

Of those five only Moyes and Ole didn’t/haven’t won a trophy (Charity Shield excluded).
Not saying it’s a list of magnificent achievement but each has had their own measure of success, except for the hapless ginger Scottish cunt.

I would have thought Sexton was worse than Atkinson, and the rest poor appointments imo.Sadact7 wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 1:52 pmNot particularly.Zambo wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 1:43 pmAll shite.Sadact7 wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 1:42 pmMoyes
