Bit weird showing that at half-time during a game kids will be watching.
James looks a right seedy little pest doesn't he? I would happily drill Sarah though.

EDIT: Sorry, MyReg, just realised I kankerated the fred, thought you meant OurTime.

Fucking hell. That's us finished now. Some finish by Yarmolenko for the winner. Chelsea were way off the pace tonight.

Disgraceful commentary for West Ham’s 2nd and 3rd goals, the cunt couldn’t have sounded more biased if he’d broken into a rendition of I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles.

And why has Gary Neville developed this habit of saying “oooooooohhhhh” like a lobotomised drag queen?

If Chelsea add Havertz to the signings of Werner and Ziyech, and then don’t address that defence, they’re going to be a LOT of fun to watch next season.

Palace have nothing to play for do they?

Not saying they shouldn’t be motivated for every game but we know it doesn’t work like that.

I think they are motivated, and the team spirit is good... but our squad is so small, and we have so many injuries, not just now, but over the last two years. Yet again we couldn't even put out a full bench. (To be fair, neither could Burnley.)

We now have only three fit forwards (not strikers - forwards as in front three players - Zaha, Ayew and Townsend) and I just think it's catching up.

The thing that amazes me is how good the team spirit, and the supporters' positivity and loyalty, has always been at Palace. Ex-players (including many, many northerners who always remark upon it) all say that there is something special about the place. You never hear any gossip or bad-mouthing from the players, and the crowd never turn on the team.* There is a real bond there, and that has seen the club through some terrible times over the decades. The connection with the fans and the local community is also very strong, and the players are involved in all this too.

It's a modest club with a shithole ground (wouldn't dignify it with the word "stadium") but I wouldn't swap it for West Ham's soulless bowl or even the modern Old Trafford. (The old Old Trafford is a different matter!)

I just hope we don't get complacent.

* Apart from one game, when we booed them off at half-time and then cheered them back for the second half.

The league is split so much at the moment that probably the only team without anything to play for is Southampton in 14th- even Newcastle in 13th may feel that Europe could be achievable if they keep their run going.

7th-13th is so tightly packed right now that all those clubs will fancy a chance of Europa League. It may widen in the next two/ three games but currently virtually all teams have a motivation of some sort.

Tottenham atrocious at the back. Dier just shrugging when Sheff Utd’s 3rd went in.
