Has anyone tried one of those Nepressro machines? Always see them advertised or such for an arm and leg and wonder if the coffee out of them is actually any good.

Yep, they're good.
I think Heston Blumenthal uses them in his restaurants, so he must think they're OK.

The year I had an excessive harvest of blackcurrants I decided to make my own Ribena.
I don't know what I missed out of the procedure but it produced a vomit inducing mess.
So now I stick to the bottled stuff. Hot after a walk in the cold, brilliant

Did you add 7 teaspoons of sugar per blackcurrant?

I dodn't add anything. I wanted a natural drink. I got one, but it was a foul mess.

Ribena concentrate's shit nowadays, has been for years. If you want a decent blackcurrant full concentrate try Asda or Tesco's own brand.

If you mix those up and heat them together you'll get a far nicer drink.

I've wanted one of them since I saw them advertised. Never going to get one though.
How do they work?
And probably not the best idea if you have small kids running around.
