Sheffield Wednesday are going down. What a shame.

Re: The Championship 2020/21
I've never really got the media love-in for Sheffield Wednesday. Often called a sleeping giant yet every time I've been to Hillsborough the crowd has barely got above 23,000. Even in the Premier League they had lots of empty seats.
Won a lot a long time ago, big away following usually but their last 50 years or so hasn't been that impressive.
On a current note, surprised to see Barnsley doing so well. Last 20 years or so they've been a struggler at this level at best, now a point off the top six.

Can't stand Wednesday personally. They were lauding it over us a few years back despite spunking millions and doing little of note. Losing to a Steve Bruce managed Hull City side at Wembley was as good as it got for them. Jesus wept. Their city neighbours have largely outperformed them during the past 20 years.JW90 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 11:16 pmI've never really got the media love-in for Sheffield Wednesday. The weird personality cult they've formed around dodgy owner Chansiri is also pretty tragic. Some still failing to see it's his fault.
Agree on Barnsley. Was pleased they stayed up last season. We beat them narrowly 1-0 in one of the last games of the season post-lockdown which appeared to condemn them. They really didn't deserve to lose that game. Yet they stayed up and are now doing well with some very good players for that level. They also seem to have a knack of replacing their managers with ones equally as good or better.

Gone. As per liked Aitor at the Boro.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Too late.
Tony Pulis one of the favourites to take over.
These clown owners have already had 8 managers.

Bowyer resigned at Charlton, and looks like he's coming our way. Not happy because he's a cunt regardless of his ability.
When he played for us, he abused supporters, stamped on opponents, held the record for cards, and loads of similar incidents with previous clubs including fighting with a colleague at Newcastle.
I think I'd rather us go down tbh. We probably will anyway.

Karanka was invited to a party to celebrate the CEO Ren’s birthday. Ren discussed his job with Karanka telling him he wanted another fortnight. Ren rejected it telling him to go with Karanka telling him where to stick it and had a go at the players too. Ren has lost his job now. Bowyer was a nasty cunt at Newcastle. Horrible man.

Ren deserved to go more than Karanka. He presided over an utter shambles.

Lee Bowyer was brilliant at Leeds. Loved him as a player.

Unable to separate his playing ability from him being a horrible cunt I'm afraid. Don't want him at the club I support.

Honk Kong owned Birmingham City have appointed London born Lee Bowyer as their manager.
A joyless arsehole.

Re: The Championship 2020/21
If the fans stay away tonight, that's proof that they don't want Bowyer down the Blues.
However don't understand the relevance of your post. Wolves owned by a Chinaman appointed a Portuguese manager. So what?
