You're right, it should be illegal for people to have kids unless they have a license from the government. Any children born without a license should be starved to death - it's only fair.
Forget that.

How about all citizens are required to submit a bank statement. Anybody whose net monthly income doesn’t exceed Leader82s arbitrary threshold is immediately sterilised. We simply cannot allow poor people to breed.

But then who'd provide the bulk of the soldiers to fight our wars? We cant have kids of the landed gentry sacrificing their precious lives.

Gurkhas. Let some brown types do the dying on our behalf then the ones who survive we can just fuck off back home to die in poverty. Win win.

How about you can only have kids if you own land, those that don't own land their children become bonded labour?

Yes! And all the poor people (errr...let’s just call them peasants for time saving purposes) who happen to be born within the ethereal boundaries of said landowner’s area, become the subject of that landowner and bound to obey them by birthright.

There are sadly parents out there who don't give a shit about their kids. Conversations with teachers I know inform me of this. Sadly it's always the children who suffer.

However, given the pandemic and its impact on the economy there's probably some good parents struggling and I wouldn't have begrudged the extra funding as a tax payer.

This.

No child in the UK should not have enough food to eat.

The fact there's even a discussion on this show's just how fucked this country this.

It should be a given that the poorest, most vulnerable in society are looked after.

Tories are cunts.

Agree, not the kids fault, so they should be looked after. Problem is if they provide the help in the form of cash, then the bad parents won't spend it on their kids.

Instead of bashing your keyboard in anger at Tory bastards 'starving' kids, why not just cut out the middle man ? I'm sure you'll feel better.

Basically the tories passing the buck while rolling back the state.

Ordinary people do help. Whether through food banks of financial donations or volunteering.

But the fact that they have to do this in one of the top 10 wealthiest nations on earth is sickening. Our state is foremost meant to be the protector of the most vulnerable.

53% of kids own a mobile phone by the age of seven in the UK.

90% of kids own a mobile phone by the age of eleven in the UK.

Yet we're meant to believe there's millions of kids going to bed each night starving. Utter bullshit.

Ownership of a mobile isnt a yardstick by which to measure poverty.
