I took my chances and made Sterling my captain but The Tinkerman has shafted me once again by resting him and my defender Cancelo.

10-pointer Gundogan was the only one of my starting XI to get more than 2 points!

I was hopeful of an upper-mid-table finish not too long again but I have had a nightmare since the end of January and I'll be doing well to finish above the bottom 4 or 5 now! :(

As Harry points out above, Pep shuffled his pack leaving us mostly outfoxed.

Klopps stay top with a DeBruyne captaincy though, so for him the roulette paid off.

Gameweek 28: Pep leaves DE Bruyne and Gundogan out of the team leaving Fantasy manager's grasping at bench straws. League leader Klopps did well, gaining 10 point Dunk as replacement, which helped him to a highest score of the round and an increase in his lead.

Next deadline is Friday 19 March at 6.30pm, and there's only four matches in the whole round.

Gameweek 29: From the limited matches this round some people got decent scores; who would have thought a triple Brighton defence set up would have been the way to go? Harrys Lemons did, and profited from the resulting points-harvest.

In contrast Macclesfield Town drop from their challenging role in second place to fourth after scoring 0 points.

Next round deadline is Saturday 3rd April at 11am, at last some time to breathe.

Gameweek 35:

The momentous week when Man U had 3 games and many other teams had 2 games; so points a plenty for the discerning and lucky manager. I did pretty well getting 147 points, one of five managers to break the ton, and climb to third place. Klopps and Robbos was another of the ton-breakers and sits pretty at the top of the table over 100 points ahead of second. Paddy Power are already paying out.

A remarkable feat by Ste Mcpartland to consistently score high throughout the season.

The deadline for the next gameweek is in about 25 minutes. Skates on time, skates on.
