Eddie Mair floucing off.
Has David Buik unretired himself? Carlos? There was a tearful goodbye from all and sundry ... now the old fucks back I read.

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Not listened to him for the best part of a year, Steve. Enjoyed (for want of a better word) for a good while but just ended up resenting him, his rather untouchable status and inability to take any personal criticism. Just a really washed up, vapid old queen with no redeemable features.Steve Hunt wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 9:13 amI thought you were, Lawnsy?kancutlawns wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 9:15 pmI thought you’re a big fan of Steve Allen, for some reason.Carlos J wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 3:29 pmDon't listen to LBC so can't help. It used to be a very good station, Carlos. Long time ago, mind you.Carlos J wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 3:29 pmDon't listen to LBC so can't help. Sorry.carcinogen wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:58 am Eddie Mair floucing off.

They had a stable of excellent presenters like Brian Hayes, Dickie Arbiter, Tommy Boyd, Adrian Love etc. Jeremy Beadle had a fantastic late night weekend spot that was a must listen for teenage boys who liked his pisstaking chaotic show.
Now it is simply shit.
Whoever is in charge of presenter recruitment needs garotting.

Agreed. It’s just same old same old who have been doing the same job on the station for many years like Ferrari and O’Brien so just no fresh comment or approach. Iain Dale is probably the only one who has a lot of credibility in a sea of dross. Don’t mind Fogarty in small doses but let’s be honest, it’s not a left/right thing. Andrew Pierce is shite, Andrew Castle is shite. The station just needs a shake up.Steve Hunt wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 10:45 amIt used to be a very good station, Carlos. Ferrari is living in 1984. O'Brien is fixated with Brexit and is get more bitter by the day that he's a failure. Andrew Pierce has all the empathy and wit of a SS officer and Castle is the dullest most vanilla middle-class man in Britain. Blows my mind how much some of these fucks are paid, unreal.

I worry about his 'God children' too, seems to visit them a lot.

Bit of a worry on the LBC news bulletin just now they used ex mrs carc to give her opinion on the situation in Ukraine. She's a bright girl don't get me wrong but she has about as much knowledge on the situation in the donbass region as my toaster. The lunatics are running the asylum. LOL.

Re: The Rise of LBC - Part 2
Interesting opening hour on the O’Brien show. O’Brien who tends to take offence on behalf of ethnic minorities and yet is mocking a black comedian making a joke about a woman’s hair loss being put in his place by angry black female callers who condone violence against said comedian.
Quite a conundrum for James who seems to be rambling, laughing nervously and jumping to a break every few minutes. His subtle act of pointing at others and yet taking a faux noble act of standing up for them seems to be fraying at the edges.

Re: The Rise of LBC - Part 2
So far this week the morning presenters have been:
Wes Streeting
David Lammy
Rachel Reeves
& now Sadiq Khan
It would appear that LBC now stands for Labour Broadcasting Company
