I don't think the Geneva Convention is applicable to the treatment of domestic convicts.

There is some kind of UN convention on human rights but I think Trump may have pulled them out of that.

I wouldn't think he'd be murdered but he's deffo in line for getting a bit of the same treatment as Floyd got, barring the handcuffs obviously.
Do you suppose that he would be kept in administrative segregation for the length of whatever sentence he gets or would that be regarded as cruel and unusual treatment?

You don’t think Mr Floyd was murdered then ?

He certainly wasn’t buggered.

What do you mean about Mr Floyd not being murdered,? I'm talking about keeping Chauvin in administrative segregation and whether that could be regarded as 'cruel and unusual treatment' which is outlawed by the Geneva Convention, or some such.
You said he wouldn’t be murdered but would get the same treatment as Mr. Floyd.
“Cruel and unusual punishment” is barred by the United States Constitution. Obviously the Geneva Convention doesn’t apply.

As I said it’s in the USC and President Trump didn’t pull out of that.

I said that Chauvin would get the same treatment as Floyd, yes, but I meant being in a prone position with several bods on his back and neck so he could appreciate the effect it has on a person, I rather suspect you know what I meant too,

When I opened the internet thingy up popped a news item about a chap in California who died after being in the prone position for 5 minutes. he seemed to have a hand on his back, the officer tried resuscitation but he was pronounced dead at the hospital, so it seems that keeping a person in the prone position for longer than is needed to handcuff them isn't uncommon.

Asking for a retrial. The first juror to speak out publicly also happens to be a BLM activist who lied to get on the jury and has admitted that he saw it as an opportunity to “spark social change.”

The verdict should be thrown out. It wasn’t a fair trial.

How wasn't it a fair trial? As far as I can make out the jury adhered to the restrictions on watching the news, reading newspapers and using social media, no one reported being approached with inducements to vote not guilty and one woman even reported herself for switching on her TV with the sound off and seeing a member of the prosecution team and immediately switching the TV off. Whatever this juror has to say will have no effect on what the judge gives Chauvin, but it will be interesting to see what misconduct by the prosecution he's citing, I know there was something in the autopsy which came to light after the trial had started which the prosecution tried to bring in which the judge disallowed, I suppose by misconduct by the jury he means this juror's interview.

Such requests are par the course in relation to guilty verdicts. They rarely get anything from it.

Too late to save chauvin's cheeks anyway.

I'm still queer as to why Bobby Heenan dislikes fFoyd for doing porn.
