He may be alluding to the 20 or so complaints filed against Chauvin, it seems that he may be tried for doing what he did to Floyd to a 14 year old' 20 Complaints in 22 years, that's nearly 1 every year, and he kept his job. there's something wrong somewhere.

There has been a considerable attempt to criticise Floyd as though that makes any difference...drug addict, absent father and all the rest. He may have been a reprehensible character, but the implication is that police officers can decide who deserves to live and die.

Chauvins whole defence seemed to hinge on Floyd being under the influence of drugs and being a danger to him (Chauvin) and the other officers there and the fact that he had a history of substance abuse. There were things brought up which had no relevance to the events of that day, I think even his defence knew that the chances of acquittal were slim.

Even if you accept the argument that he was a danger, there are multiple ways he could have been rendered harmless without killing him. As various senior officers testified.

You could have complained before they were put up, I'm sure your views would have been taken into account. that was Chauvins defence, Floyd was undeserving of proper treatment.
