It's perhaps the best development the BBC has had for years.

I wonder if the BBC will continue with the video, or whatever it's called, guests now that lockdown seems to be over. Although, I suppose, the contributors still get their fees the savings in travel costs must be quite considerable, not to mention overnight stays on some occasions.

The people I was referring to as "on the phone" would be the audience.

I’ve no time for the pussies who apparently can’t cope with alternative points of view, but I draw the line at giving airtime to a despicable airhead like Isabel Oakeshott.

It was her who made up the story about David Cameron and the pig.

Oakeshott sounds charming.

In 2013, while at The Sunday Times, she persuaded Vicky Pryce to implicate her estranged husband, former Liberal Democrat MP and Cabinet minister Chris Huhne, in perverting the course of justice, leading to the case R v Huhne, and to both Pryce and Huhne being convicted and imprisoned.[9]

Audience down to 17,000.
Neill not returning apparently disgusted it has been taken over by racists and conspiracy theorists.
Staff leaving.
Next will lose more advertisers because of audience shrinkage.

That idiot neil was the big cheese over there. He had the power to dictate content but decided to go on holiday 2 weeks into the channel's existence.

He might as well go and do a "robert maxwell" at this stage.

I tend to think Neil is ill which is why he's pulling back from TV.

He appeared on the Spectator's TV channel this week.
I doubt he is ill, more that he has realised the kind of people he has ended up with.
He is much too intelligent to have any time for Farage.
Best thing to happen to the BBC in years.

Don't think he's ill, recently saw a youtube clip of him taking part in some UK TV debate and tbf he looked tanned and well rather than stressed and permanently beetroot.
