Soccer Fucking Aid ... just write out a cheque and spare us.
A bunch of tenth-rate showbiz nobodies with delusions of grandeur, and WE'RE supposed to applaud THEM, even though it's US that are giving OUR money to allow them to tick "I could have been a contender" on their fuckhead wish-list. "I had a trial!"
It occurs to me that it's a bit like the panto-season, only in the summer, or the House of Lords ... people you vaguely remember through the mists of time but you weren't all that bothered in the first place.
Fucking hell, is he still alive? Fucking hell, not seen him for years!

It like you watching 'An Audience with Billy Connolly' which I still do every so often. Because Billy is that good.
But the main purpose is to sit there and when it pans to the paid audience of late 80s celebs hamming up the good time their having, to go, "Dead, dead, still alive, not sure- will have to look her up on Wikipedia, dead, alive, dead, Wincey fucking Willis!!..."
