The blatant Brexit bashing opportunism is blinding, The main reason for the shortage is due to the pandemic, which dramatically slowed down the training and tests.

He disagrees with what rhe Daily Mail tells you, Zam.
Oh….and ol’Pet has checked with relatives in Belfast.

Bonkers here, most petrol stations were closed before lunchtime, either because the queues were causing severe traffic congestion or they'd run out of fuel. The people who run the haulage industry and the fuel tankers have no doubt whatsoever that Brexit is a major cause, greater than Covid.

We don’t have enough lorry drivers now because everyone seems to work in I.t. And works from home, or their project managers whatever that means. Lorry drivers, builders and road workers are the backbone of the country, not people in shiny office blocks
