There are no queues here that I've seen....just very little diesel

Bonkers here, most petrol stations were closed before lunchtime, either because the queues were causing severe traffic congestion or they'd run out of fuel. Diesel has been in short supply for a while here, and I'm only 30 miles or so from Fawley.

The people who run the haulage industry and the fuel tankers have no doubt whatsoever that Brexit is a major cause, greater than Covid.
But apparently you know better than them.

We don’t have enough lorry drivers now because everyone seems to work in I.t. And works from home, or their project managers whatever that means. Lorry drivers, builders and road workers are the backbone of the country, not people in shiny office blocks
