It's just sensible action. The BBC should be free to concentrate on its cricket coverage without one of its contributiors having a grave controversy hanging over him.

What's 'Tuffers' going to do? Quite how he's working for the BBC is quite amazing to me. Didn't he beat up his missus and smoke joints? Flintoff is another one, his seemingly constant 'depression' doesn't stop him earning a lot money from the BBC. It's almost as if he PLAYS on it. I know, very cynical of me.

We can confirm that Martyn Moxon, Director of Cricket, and Andrew Gale, First XI Coach, have left the Club today (3 December), in addition to all members of the coaching team.

A new Director of Cricket will be appointed imminently, alongside a new coaching team which is being recruited.

The backroom medical team, external services provided by Pavilion Physiotherapy Clinic, has also left the Club. An interim medical team is also in the process of being appointed.

We thank everyone who is leaving for their service. Further announcements will be made in due course.

But back on topic, and I agree with you in that it's wrong to get rid of people if they've done nothing wrong, but it seems highly unlikely Yorkshire would get rid of them on a whim.

So the decisions should be questioned then, whether you think it's highly unlikely or not.
