The Met, the organisation that didn't vet new police officers, sacks them for random assaults, theft, sexual assault and rape and despite being told more than once they have a shit culture, is having a recruitment problem.
I have a friend whose son wants to join the police. He applied to Surrey and was told to come back the next round. I suggested the Met to him, and he looked like I'd kicked him in the balls.
