The Met. have now agreed the treatment of Bianca Williams and Ricardo Dos Santos was disgraceful. The Met pulled them over and then approached their car will batons drawn and a window hammer. This is before they even spoke to them, they then dragged them from the car, handcuffed them under the pretext of 'searching for weapons' during the stop they separated the mother from her baby - all whilst waving batons and CS gas around.

After searching their vehicle and finding nothing they then let them go. The Met. Commission at the time said they did nothing wrong, now it's turned out the Met. has changed their minds.

A lot of people dismiss the idea of the Met. disproportionately stop and searching black people. In this case, two black world-class athletes with no criminal record driving home with their baby were stopped based on no intelligence, aggressively removed from their car and searched under the false pretest they have 'weapons'.

Once it became clear that Williams and Dos Santos had access to the media and the story got out the Met. tried to bush it under the carpet.
