The Apprentice
It’s back and full of shit, egotistical, dramatic, incompetent, lairy tossers as before Covid came along.

Ashkay looks like a pompous cunt, Francesca a dislikable, control freak.

Tradition really and to trigger a discussion on the series as has been the case for the past fifteen years here. Other posters like sub contribute to it and it will have dozens of pages by the end of the series.
And there’s alot more!

The contestants these days are a right bunch of bellends, but it's still highly entertaining, plus you can usually rely on some totty

Re: The Apprentice
Exactly. It’s entertaining watching a collection of nobends cocking up activities like creating a logo of a curly turd for a luxury cruise experience and being called out for it from an aged computer part seller who relies on crap cliches along with his trusted, and highly respected aide Lady Karren Brady. It’s watchable largely because of the motley crew who appear on it.subsub wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 10:01 pmWell said, Lawns-o.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 9:46 pm Tradition really and to trigger a discussion on the series as has been the case for the past fifteen years here. Don't watch it myself. But can guess. It's like low-end pornography. Alan Sugar is a spiv.

Possibly the truest thing you’ve said today but you should watch it. It’s a worthwhile exercise to really discover the aspiring business brains of tomorrow. I’m not kidding you.carcinogen wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 10:34 pm Don't watch it myself. But can guess. It's like low-end pornography. Alan Sugar is a spiv.

Re: The Apprentice
I could of seen old Simon Jordan back in the day, trying to flog-off mobile-phones built in some shithole in Korea and Alan rubbing his hands and giving him 15 percent.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 10:46 pmPossibly the truest thing you’ve said today but you should watch it. It really is quite a pathetic show. It might have worked in the 80s under Thatcher, it doesn't work now. Anyone appearing on it is just taking a punt on a 1 year social media career or possibly a book or something. God it's depressing.

Re: The Apprentice
Why wouldn’t work now? I would have thought the premise of The Apprentice is more sound now then ever and requires ingenious, creative and driven individuals to take a business idea to market. Sorry but as with much of your other examples of self-projection, your ideas are obtuse, cynical and woefully outdated. The individuals are what makes the show such car crash like entertaining.carcinogen wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 11:07 pmI could of seen old Simon Jordan back in the day, trying to flog-off mobile-phones built in some shithole in Korea and Alan rubbing his hands and giving him 15 percent.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 10:46 pmPossibly the truest thing you’ve said today but you should watch it. Social media is a public platform which allows business leaders to publicise their products and services to a huge global demographic and use a means of selling which cuts costs whilst increasing revenues.
