God, I can't STAND that.
Especially the "hey, hey!" bit in the chorus.
Cheesy-arsed wank. And it was a supermarket ad, too (Morrisons?)

Was it supposed to be their "Your Mother Should Know"?

It was a song written about Robbie Williams before he rejoined. Makes sense when you see the lyrics.
It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand. ~ Brian Stimpson

Horribly cheesy song. Wasn’t Mark Owen tap dancing down some steps like he was Bruce Forsyth in a top hat and holding a cane?

Yes, then Jimmy Savile rose from his grave, bumming the duchess until they both crumbled

Not hits or played much but need to get this off my chest, from Stamford Bridge I love The Liquidator but fecking detest "Blue is the Colour" which is like a badly composed nursery rhyme sung by footballers for cup final day. Horrible thing, almost as grating as You'll never walk alone.

Agreed, but I love Sugg's Blue Day, it's where I got my username.antdad wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 1:28 am Not hits or played much but need to get this off my chest, from Stamford Bridge I love The Liquidator but fecking detest "Blue is the Colour" which is like a badly composed nursery rhyme sung by footballers for cup final day. Yes, forgot about that. Not been to SB for ages is it still on the roster? As a London band and fan Id like to see Albarn put something together or convert an existing song.

Unfortunately Blue is the Colour is at the end of most games, Blue Day is played "some days"

When you were a spotty school kid, did you know what House of Fun was about?
