I don't really want to change but if I reinstall the faulty leccy meter I have to go through the rigmarole of claiming and demonstrating it's faulty which'll take a month or two , getting it tested and checked and then claiming back the excess charge and I really can't be arsed with it.
This way I've timed it usage and billing wise that if I put the faulty one back the morning or night before the smart meter change no one will be none the wiser and I've paid roughly what I actually should owe.

They want to grind you down, ant.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Re: Energy (Meter Reading)
I'm beginning to feel it, seems I've had a run of bad luck recently...
Dog injured over last bank holiday, no insurance (usually do and thought she was) so emergency vet cost a fortune.
Kid broke a leg in a freak sporting accident, hospitalised.
Car accident albeit not a lot of damage.
Flat tyre right after car accident, had a stupid emergency repair kit instead of a spare or space saver (my bad) so had to hop back home reinflating the tyre every 10 fecking minutes. No big deal 'cept I was trying to get my incontinent, dementia riddled old Ma back to her care home.
Anyway fingers crossed, hope that's it for this year.
