@ Birdie. You do know the case was bought against MGN and not Morgan?
Yes, but Morgan seems to be the villain in the case. It has been implied, and said, that Morgan sanctioned the use of hacked information, which he has repeatedly denied, He's been branded a liar even though he didn't appear (he could have been summoned if they really wanted to question him), he's repeatedly said he hasn't hacked, or told any elst to hack, any phone, but I will concede he hasn't said whether he knew phones had been hacked, but has he ever been asked that question, a question which, I would have thought, would be the perfect question to ask him in court.
Harry seems to be blaming Morgan for every ill that has ever happened to him and he'll not stop until either Morgan, or himself, are bought down.

Morgan might find himself in court, the judges findings may well have opened the door for that which may have been the point.

Interesting Morgan's precise phrasing at the beginning of his door step rant before desending into more H&M unrelated paranoia. He's the Lance Armstrong of the tabloids. Deny, deny, deny, deny until...

If the allegation is that he and that woman lied to Levison, don't you think plod would have investigated years ago? And if not why not.

Does Morgan have the funds to take Harry to court for defamation?

This was a tort case so the level of proof is "on the balance of probabilities". To prove a crime its "beyond a reasonable doubt". Which is why it might be difficult to prove he lied unless someone can produce evidence he did. His bosses would've certainly known but that would mean implicating themselves. As for plod, forget about it considering how complicit they were.

I don't know about unrelated, many things are related to this case, Harry's statement
at the verdict was so full of unrelated rant. Truth and honesty is what he wanted, rrich coming from a man who between himself and his wife told more lies Pinocchio, it's a wonder their noses don't reach the ground.

Morgan told Harry a few unpalatable truths, he just threw back some of the shit Harry has been throwing in his direction.

So your character can be trashed 'on the balance of probabilities' that you may or may not have lied. Great, no proof, to evidence, just the word of someone who has a suspicion that his phone was hacked, from a man who has told more lies, trashed the reputation of his own family for millions of dollars and is out to get Morgan at all costs.

The newspaper group used hacked information from a lot of people to get their stories, but Morgan has denied he told anyone to hack any phone, and the judge threw out all but one complaint relating to the time he was editor, so obviously there wasn't any proof, yet that seem to count for nothing.

Just stating the legal stand point of the case, if Morgan has a problem with the findings I guess he could sue?

I for one certainly don't care about the ramifications of his reputation as if he has one to protect. He's a cunt of the highest order that has constructed a career off the backs of printing tittle tattle and worse while ruining many peoples lives including the royals. Some liked to read it believeing they must deserve it which is an unfortunate tell on their own character but whether Morgan gave a direct order to phone tap or not he was complicit as he absolutely knew of it and didn't discourage it.

As for all the technicalites over who said what and who told the biggest porky, the last time I saw H&M live on TV was when they married and every bloody TV was occupied. Clearly you're an avid follower of both parties and am far more informed than I and to that I say continue to enjoy the show. It's a shitshow but that's the point.

Come off it, I only know what I see on the news bulletins, I believe Morgan is on a TV show on some channel or other, but I've never watched him, I wouldn't cross the road to see H&M, I had a respect for his grandmother, but as for his father, again, I wouldn't cross the road to see him, as for his step mother, (who isn't his step mother as she isn't legally married to Charlie under the Royal Marriages Act) Shakespeare had a quote which began with, 'tis pity.....'

As for the Mirror group of newspapers, I don't remember ever having read any of them, indeed, I haven't read a newspaper for at least 8 years so have to rely on what I hear on the news.

not sure about dead legends

not sure what harold did, above all flyers still alive in the world, to earn this distinguished title

Living legend of aviation.

Wonder what he did over and above all of his colleagues. Thought he spent most of his time under guard.

Just another tedious decision based on who the recipient is, and not what they have done.
