The effects of brexit on the economy, governance of Northern Ireland, and ability of Britons to work and live in the EU among other things, can be described as nearly coming to a halt.

Yep, I've closed all the curtains, ordered my weekly shop from Sainsburys to be delivered. I'm staying in. It's just not worth going out any more. And it's all down to Brexit.

The effects of brexit on the nation are far more significant than any smear campaign against Angela Rayner.

It was just ironic, that after telling us several times on a daily basis, that we are all doomed because of Brexit, that you would react like that to a post about Rayner and take the piss. Moreover, was anyone really saying that the country had come to a standstill.

You're creating a false equivalence between the two topics.

Bloody hell you are so predictable, as it's a Labour MP it's a smear campaign, yet if it was a Tory MP, you'd be screaming from the rooftops about more Tory sleaze...

It's a tory attempt to create another "BuT lAbOuR!" non-story to offset all the real political scandals they've been embroiled in.

The leader of the Labour party and former DPP has studiously avoided reading the 'specialist tax advice' that Rayner received

Why would that be ?

After Rayner's statement today, hopefully she will stand down sometime soon. She's a horrible vile slag.

As with Starmer and currygate, she will be found to be blameless.
