She was born here so is British by birth, but I think the British government were working on the lines of dual nationality, which, I believe, she could have claimed were she to have reached her majority, she could also have rejected her Bangladeshi entitlement.

Himself was born in London but had an Italian born father, he could have claimed dual nationality but rejected the Italian part saying that he was born in Britain and British he remained to his las breath.

Indeed, curiously it was only reported four days after my post that Begum’s British citizenship had been revoked so that clearing in the wood trawling through past posts got it wrong and ooold an utter plonker. Imagine going through someone’s posting history and getting technical info wrong on doing so. She was still known to be a British citizen on 15th February 2019.

Someone who has any intelligence can Google to see the timeline. It’s all there.
