NOTES AFTER WEEK 10 FIXTURES

1 . Our reigning champion Gertcha took off with a top score of 16 points and a stupendous 4 correct scores.Runner up was Zambo with a not so shabby 13 points with a fantastic 3 correct scores.

All change at the top where Gertcha jumps into the lead by 4 points from Suhari Sid and DA .Zambo makes up the top section of the league 6 points behind Gertcha.
The other 4 make up the current relegation battle with 2 points between them to avoid automatic relelegation and a play off to stay in league 1


2.Happy Ram continued his good form to top League 2 with 12 points including a fantastic 3 correct scores. Runner up was Shedboy with 11 points and 2 correct scores.
Reg's lead has been cut to 4 points from Seve and Alex lost ground by not putting an entry in this week.

3.Easiest game to predict this week was Torquay 1 Dag and Reg 2 with 7 correct closely followed by Hemel Hempsted 3 Concord 0 which amazingly had 6 correct


4.Most difficult game to predict was Kidderminster 0 Alfreton 0 where there were no correct scores.


5.Eye catching correct score was Swindon 0 Stockport 1 which was one of Gertcha's correct predictions

1.A low scoring week in League 1 saw joint top scorers DA and Zambo with 8 points and 2 correct scores and joint runners up in Gertcha and Sid with 8 points and 1 correct score.

Gertcha keeps his 4 point lead at the top of the league from DA/Sid who have the exact same score.
Another good week from Zambo sees him joining the top 4.

Relegation and Play offs has tightened again.Only 4 points seperate 6th and 9th.

2. In League 2 we had Shedboy topscoring with 9 points and 2 correct scores.Runner up was Citizens also with 9 points but having 1 correct score.

Reg keeps his 4 point lead at the top of the table from Seve.

1. First of all apologies for delays due to computer problems. Back on track, please double check all scores ,leagues etc and advise any discrepencies right away to let me check and alter if necessary.

Unfortunately Carlos has missed the last 6 weeks through illness and faces automatic relegation and Jonathan is currently in the play off position against 3rd in League 2 to see who plays in League 1 next season.

1.League 1 have been struggling for scores lately but finished of in style with a total of 21 correct scores.Topping the week was DA scoring 15 points with a tremendous 4 correct scores, runner up was Jonathan with 14 points including a fantastic 3 correct scores.
Honourable mention for Carlos 13 points and 3 correct and Arthur Brutal and Sid Pervcat who scored 12 pints with 3 correct scores.
All of these great scores did not affect the winner of League 1,a first timer I think and big Congrats to Zambo who won by 5 points from the runner up Sid Pervcat with DA in 3rd 4 points behind Sid.

Carlos has been relegated to division 2 after missing a third of the season with illness and hopefully he is on a full recovery.
Jonathan will once again be involved in the playoff against Alex from League 2 to decide which one plays in League 1 this season

2 Seve top scored again with 14 points and a fantastic 3 correct scores and runner up was Finchman who scored 11 points including 3a fantastic 3 correct scores.
Honourable mentions to Kancutlawns who scored 10 points and 2 correct scores.

The winner of league 2 has been evident for some time and again this week top scored . Congratulations to Seve who won by 26 points from Happy Ram .Both winner and runner up are promoted to League 1 next season .A further 12 points behind the runner up was Alex who now plays Jonathan in the play off ,winner plays in League 1 next season.

3. Easiest prediction of the week was Sevilla 1 Real Madrid 2 with a massive 10 correct scores. In fact 7 out of the 9 in League 1 got it spot on.

4 Most difficult prediction this week - There wasn't one to be found considering the overall scoring level which was exceptional.

7 .To wrap things up I would like thank all players for taking part and hope you enjoyed it and will come back for more next season.
We seemed to lose a couple of players at the end of the season Reg and Tind and I need to find out if they are coming back.
Not withstanding that I am looking to recruit some players to beef up the league and will be working on that during close season.
Have a rest -new season begins on Saturday 12th August 2023 and runs for 19 weeks as Season A, Immediately after this Season B starts for another 19 weeks finishing in May 2024. We have 2 leagues with promotion relegation for each part of the season.
