I've just used a teaching version of AI to do my reports. 144 unique reports completed in 3 hours. Normally that would take in excess 20 hours.

A work colleague of mine says it's "unethical" to use it
To me it's a great starting point for copy which we can then hone and tweak to our style, ie it does all the donkey work (ChatGPT, not my work colleague)

Don't they have to be very specific to each kid, I suppose you can tweak the parameters/key words for each easily enough?

Yep, you put in the key words, it produces a very professionally-written report, and then you tweak bits and pieces of it. The latter is what I'll be doing for the rest of the day. 95% of the final piece will be AI-generated though.

Actually, give me a few minutes, and I'll show you what I mean...

Sorry, but what did he expect? Have today's scientists learned nothing from Oppenheimer and co? Play with uranium and you get Frankenstein's monster. Why couldn't they foresee the same outcome with deep tech?

Look at the hack of the decrepit old bugger.
He was in it for the sexbots. He's fooling no one.

Funnily enough this current world is reminding me what was prophesied in Dune in the 60s with the Butlerian Jihad.

I think Lambo should start the Bene Gesserit now and get it over with.

No he shouldn't, that will only lead to sting in strange leather pants!

It’s a tool for fat, lazy cunts who can’t be arsed doing the job they’re fucking paid to do.

We've been using forms of artificial intelligence for some years now, including predictive text.

Exactly, and it isn't going away.
The potential for AI is vast - I don't think the public have really grasped how vast yet.

It is good for laborious administrative tasks such as coding, mathematics, and referencing. I'm sure there will be AI advancements in medicine and engineering some point. Potential dangers include the decline of human creativity and curiosity, e.g., we may become reliant on AI to generate art and literature, which lacks ingenuity and emotional thought.
