+1 amazing job by Steve Clarke. Again, he may not be the club manager everyone is after but for his national team he's the one who could take the Scots back to a World Cup in '26.

Good point about Clarke, a good national manager does not a good club manager make or vica versa necessarily.
Take Scaloni, barely any club management experience at all.

Maybe, but when you look at England's record pre Soutgate I think history will eventually judge him more kindly.
His achievements are about par given his resources, some very good players just not enough depth in crucial areas or without having anyone truely spectacular or fit to change a game. (Mbappe, Messi, CR7, Modric, etc)
