Greggs

Post by antdad »

Never been or eaten anything from there (nor McDonalds) but I'm going on a pilgrimage to this great British culinary institution. What does one recommend or usually order from Gregory's?

Sausage rolls are genuinely really good.
2 sausage rolls, a steak bake and a small bottle of coke all for around 6 quid.

Not Michelin starred fare by any means, but good and pretty much outstanding value.

I am indeed. Only the Greggs on Tyneside sell the divine savoury mince pies too.

:) I popped into a new food shop near me (as it was next to a Pets @ Home) called "Farmfoods" .

Could be interesting I thought?

Acres of freezers and fatties loading up on frozen pizzas and 12 packs of pop, I bought the dog some tinned hotdogs as the rest of what they were selling didn't look fit for human consumption.

Ah a Scottish firm, that explains it. A country with the worst diet in the developed world.
