UK parallels UKIP/Tea party are pretty strong, with the exception that I think the Tea Party is already past its peak.

Neither has a coherent agenda or credible leaders but respond to criticism by claiming to be in some way worthy of support because they are changing the "status quo". I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but there's a reason there's a status quo- it's because most people want it ( except of course the execrable pop combo of that name).

I was treated to 20 minutes interview of Ron Paul while I was in the US. Quite why he thinks he would do better in 2016 than his complete failure in 2012 is beyond me. Hilary Clinton must look on with great amusement.

They are both likely to undermine the right's position in any election and so increase the chances of installing fundamentally opposite regimes.

Putin would have still been able to take advantage if Obama had garnered every vote cast yesterday. I'm not normally conspiracy minded but if you rule out almost superhuman incompetence and rampant corruption then a conspiracy is the only theory that makes sense.

many conspiracies are labelled as such, so that non-thinkers who believe everything the msm peddles to begospel, can shout down any kind of thinking that varies from the indoctrinated in formation that they receive

it will come to pass that many conspiracy theories are simply the truth that was hidden

BARACK Obama is to devote the pointless remainder of his presidency to being deliberately antagonistic.

With the Republicans now in charge of both Senate and Congress making it impossible for him to do anything worthwhile, the president has said he intends to be as un-American as possible in his last two years in charge.

He said: “In accordance with your demented suspicions, I’m changing my name to ‘Saddam Hussein Obamacare’ and returning to my native homeland Kenya.

“Yes, that’s right. Despite all factual evidence to the contrary, that’s where I was born.

“You may think I killed Bin Laden after a long and arduous search, but actually he’s fine and we are going to hang out.”

The President said that he intended to divide his time between a leisurely luxury safari and doing voodoo socialist dances.

While in Kenya, Obama has left instructions with staff that the White House and all its facilities be thrown open to minorities and special interest groups to live it up courtesy of the taxpayer.

He added: “The codes for the nukes are in the top left hand desk drawer.”

Theres no denying that, in foreign policy at least, that since he took power, America's influence in world affairs has declined disasterously.

Mistakes, yes. Incompetent, a matter of judgement and comparative. When you look at the damage Reagan did- laying the foundations for the 2008 crash- and you find people talking of him positively, I really doubt Obama is high on the list in reality. As for "socialist"- not in a million years. The opposition to Obamacare shows you the resources of the vested interests against it, and if they can reach for the flag, they will. In reality it deals with a massive shortcoming in the fabric of the world's richest society- that millions of its people can't get access to fundamental health care.

Roosevelt was also accused of being a "socialist". He was at a different level to Obama, but proved to be one of the greatest ever presidents.
