Another good show yesterday and an interesting chat with Lady Brady.

I need to listen again but talking about the WSL she said something like none of the clubs are in the black and they lose about £1M a year.

Also bar a few exceptions, they wouldn't play the West Ham women with a 5k crowd in a 60k stadium as it will ruin the atmosphere.

Poor old Shebahn must have been going apoplectic if she listened.

Somebody had to say it, currently not enough attendance to justify playing in a club's main stadia 'cept for a few large games/derbys atm. Lioness support does not directly translate to WSL club support and unlikely to anytime soon, blokes on the other hand usually support their clubs first and foremost and the England national team second.

That may be true, but Brady also said, there are only a certain number of events that can be held at the stadium every year, due to West Ham not owning the stadium. Plus with West Ham being in Europe the last 2 seasons it would be difficult to fit in WSL matches.
