NOTES ON LEAGUE 17 FIXTURES


1. Arthur Brutal topped League 1 with 9 points including 2 correct scores.Runner up was Zambo with 8 points including 2 correct scores.

Gertcha leads by 16 from Zambowith only two weeks to play.

Alex pulls 7 clear of DA in the relegation zone but Delboy after 3 bad weeks in a row is now only 4 ahead of Alex


2. Henry top scored in League 2 with 7 points including 1 correct score.Triple runners up with 6 points including one correct score were Citizens ,Holden and Kancutlawns

Citizens leads Jonathan by 2 points with two weeks to play.

3. Easiest game to predict was Barcelona 1 Ath Madrid 0 with six correct scores


4.Most difficult to predict was Gillingham 2 Charlton 0 where no one predicted a home win


5.Eye opener was Maidstone 2 Barrow 1 correct score picked by Henry.

6.Coming near the end of this season now, important you check your scores and flag up any errors to let me check and sort out.

NOTES FROM WEEK 18


1. Relegation threatened DA top scored with 8 points including 2 correct scores.Runner up was who else but Gertcha with 7 points and 1 correct score.
One week to go and Gertcha leads Zambo by 18 points .
After yet another poor week Delboy has dropped into the play off position just the 4 points ahead of DA. Alex has leaptfrogged Delboy and leads him by 1 point.


2. Triple top scorers with 6 points and 1 correct score in League 2 were Henry Jonathan and Shedboy.Runners up were Citizens and Finchman with 5 points and 1 correct score.
This one is going right to the wire with Citizens leading Jonathan by 1 point.Top gets automatic promotion second gets a play off against 2nd bottom in League 2.


3.Easiest prediction was Watford 1 Southampton 1 with 4 correct scores

4.Most difficult was Kilmarnock 2 Celtic 1 where everybody went for a Celtic victory.

5.Eye opener correct score goes to Alex for his Aston Villa 1 Arsenal 0

6 Week 19 [final week] fixtures will contain 11 matches because of week 18's postponed game and will be up soon.

NOTES ON FINAL WEEK 19 AND THE SEASON


1.With the exception of next weekends play off final that is that .
That final will be played between

DA V JONATHAN
Fixtures will be posted today .Best of luck to both parties.Any one else can play for fun if they wish.

2.The final week with 11 fixtures brought a burst of scoring not seen for many weeks
Top scoring in League 1 was Suhari with 13 points including a fantastic 3 corrects.Runner up was DA with 12 points inclding another fantastic 3 corrects.

Gertcha predictably again won league 1,this time by a 15 point margin from Runner up Zambo.
Congratulations once again ,amazing predicting !!!

All change at the foot of the table where DA and Alex scored well thus relegating Delboy to league 2. DA gets himself a play off to try and stay in League 1 and Alex is clear.

3.Top scoring in League 2 was shared with Carlos and Kancutlawns scoring 13 points with a fantastic three corrects.Runner up was Finchman with 10 points and 2 corrects.

Citizens outscored Jonathan by 3 points on the day and won the title and promotion by 4 points.
Congratulations to him after having spent last season at the bottom part of the league.All not lost for Jonathan who gets a play off against DA.Winner plays in league 1 next season,loser in league 2.

4. Easiest game to pick in our final fixtures was shared between Arsenal 2 Brighton 0 and Brentford 1 Aston Villa 2.Both had 6 corrects.


5.Most difficult game to pick was Liverpool 0 Man Utd 0 where every body predicted a Liverpool win


6.Eyecatching correct score was Shrewsbury 0 Portsmouth 3 correctly predicted by Shedboy

7 Fools panel will take a break now over the holiday period and the new season will start on Saturday 13th January 2024. Fixtures will be out on Monday 8th January 2024

8. As always we are looking for new players to start in League 2.Would ask Members to canvas people they know on the forum and persuade them to join.

9. There will be a fools panel for Euro 24 in Germany.This will be along the lines of the one we did for the World Cup in Qatar won by Carcinogen.
