No. But I do find that some people argue with the minor content of a message and ignore the reason for it.

Badenoch then asked for forgiveness, essentially urging people to move on with no action taken. I class that as making a pig's ear of addressing the matter.

As for the punctuation thing VeritasVincit, perhaps a full stop would suffice.
