it's not much of a sport though, is it, when the showpiece event, the pinnacle of the season, and all anyone talked about in the run-up wasn't the sport, but the half-time show, and which celeb would be in the crowd :-)
I don't think many NFL fans really give two hoots about Taylor Swift, other than our displeasure that TV directors feel compelled to show her reaction every time the Chiefs get a first down.
But on a wider point, I remember Mike Parry, year after year, spending more time talking about hearing Abide With Me than the actual FA Cup final!

Depends what truther you believe. But I didn't see Swift and Kelce endorse Joey at half time as one crackpot claimed would happen. His tweet is in carc's NFL thread.

Would have to be some fix for every single member of the playing staff of the Bills, Ravens and 49ers to roll over and let the Chiefs beat them…

Thanks chaps. Slightly did myself down on the Honours Board by forgetting it was a perfect season leading from week 1. Has happened a few times, mostly in the post-season all in with only Salem in NtFL II achieving it in a regular season.

Haven't watched much of the news channel today, but just switch ed on and am watching the very disturbing, and, indeed, tragic, news of the shooting at the KC victory parade.
FFS, fatalities and 15 injured, what is the fecking point.

I'm not a follower of the NFL, but for pities sake, WHY, JUST WHY.

Sorry folks, end of rant.

Very surprised when I read that. He looks far too lean and whippet-like to succeed in the NFL.
I presume he's going to try to be a WR or RB?
Yeah, will be interesting to follow how he does.
Signs for the Chiefs, not too bad: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/68686340

I'd be amazed if he sees any game time, but good luck to him.

Yep, good luck to him. Got a three year contract, guaranteed salary and a signing on bonus.
