Did watch the first episode and it's not bad. Celebs go into an old nick filled with old lags and see how they get on.

First episode had Ricky from Eastenders, Johnny Mercer MP and some chap from 'Gogglebox'.

Some interesting and amusing parts, Mercer setting a con off on one when talking rehabilitation v punishment and Mercer's cell mate getting shitty hands retrieving some fags for them to smoke two of the best bits.

Obviously not real but made to be as real as possible and the claustrophobia, fear and violence does linger in the air.

Speaking of 'Hitchens,' this interview is one of my favourites. Recorded shortly after his cancer diagnosis, it's a poignant but beautiful listen. Hitchens's death was a huge loss to both the media and political spheres imo.

This looked like a promising idea for a tv show, so imagine my disappointment when it was only minor celebs and they weren’t actually banged up.

C4 missed a trick here. They could’ve open it up for a premium rate phone vote of celebrities the Great British public would’ve liked to see behind bars. I know who I’d be voting for. They could’ve had a judging panel of real Judges to hand out the sentences too.

Television really has run out of ideas.
