Most of the first round games yesterday, some today and the second round draw. Highlights yesterday included Aldershot beating Swindon 7-4, Bristol Rovers beating Whitby Town 7-2 and the 2013 winners marching on 2-0 v Exeter.

Poor old Exeter going out of both cups within 5 days after losing to Boro in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Barnsley kicked out of FAC, after selecting an ineligible player in the replay of last round v Horsham, who now go through to the next round.

Football rivals politics where incompetence is concerned.

Good news for my mate and ex postie Tom Richards, plays for Horsham got the equaliser in the 3-3 game, started on the bench in the replay but came on. Spoke to him tonight, no one at Horsham can believe how Barnsley fucked up so badly. but are delighted for another payday after going the extra round...... fingers crossed they win and get a Premier team in the 3rd round. The Daughter is pissed off We didn't go to the replay where they lost to Barnsley, but I had to be up at 3;50am for work, going to Horsham on a Saturday afternoon is not a problem, but evening games not a chance.

I think the FA Cup games should be spread over two weekends.

ITV have stuck the womens game, England v Netherlands, on ITV4. Interesting with the sort of old Roses battle on BBC2, how they do, audience wise.

Might watch the second half on BBC2 after shit Corrie finishes.
