Why did all the pundits want Maidstone to be drawn against a big-shot-team and get stuffed 7-0?
We fans would prefer a draw against the lowest-ranked team, to possibly get through and make history.

What does everyone know about Blythe Spartans? They got through to the fifth round.
If they'd been drawn, say, away to Liverpool in the 3rd round and got beaten but made a lot of money out of it, who would remember it now?

Money will get spent, but history is forever.

Pundits are cunts. The word 'Pundit' is probably linked somehow to The Raj and Colonialism and will soon be banned, hopefully along with pundits. God I can't WAIT untill AI just replaces all them.

Maidstone with the correct reaction to learning they might have to visit Coventry and upset the little gimps in the process.

That was brilliant!

Didn’t even pretend to be pleased. George Elokobi’s irked shake of the head

Fair play to them for not playing the role of grateful minnows. I’ve got a lot of respect for that.

It already has, with the talkSPORT Bantabot.

"What about your lot, though!"
"I'm looking down the table and I can't see <insert name of team> anywhere. Oh, there they are, in the bottom half!"
"This fixture first took place in 1923 ... and I dare say you remember that!"
"Your music ... your clothes ... your trainers, though!"
"Oh, I can't see your team in the draw!"

And so on, time without end, or for the next three fucking hours, whichever ends soonest.

Fucking sick of seeing these weird backwards Yanks posting images of their pilgrimages to Wrexham.

This is why I really like the Amazon coverage. You can turn off the comms so all you get is the noise from the stadium. It’s a far more enjoyable experience.

Clicked off when dirty Leeds went 2-1 up in extra time. Ended up winning 4-1. Chelsea or Villa away next up.

All 5th round ties will be available to watch: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68185405

In an ideal scenario, dirty Leeds pump Chelsea in the next round.
