Re: Ireland....waking up?
Far right fanatics hijacking a tragic incident to justify their own stupidity. Nothing new here.

Shitshow of a thread.
Seems like a lot of folk pontificating about a subject they’re not really qualified to speak on.

Your opinion, which is as relevant as anyone elses here.
Pray what qualification do you need to speak on this subject, Sadact?
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Anyway, you misunderstand me.
I’m not saying anybody should refrain from commenting. I love a good know nowt shitshow. The know nowtier the better.

Re: Ireland....waking up?
As with any subject people comment on, I reckon they have little direct experience of what they are commenting on.
None of us, I hazard a guess, have the experience of the people of Gaza yet we comment on what is going on, none of us, I hazard a guess, have experience of being stabbed, shot, assaulted, racially abused (well, I admit to having been racially abused) or have had experience of any of the other subjects we comment on, and none of us, I hazard a guess, have had experience of 'the Troubles' in Ireland, yet I am sure, there would have been plenty of comments at the time, so commenting on something non of us has experienced is nothing new.
Just a thought, if someone finds a thread 'shit', why bother commenting on it.

Re: Ireland....waking up?
I think commenting that a thread is shit, is just as valid as commenting on the thread title and content, particularly when posters are labelling people scum, because they disagree with their views. I reckon that in itself puts it in the shit category.

Re: Ireland....waking up?
It was Commissioner Drew Harris who said that paolo. He blamed the rioting on a "lunatic, hooligan faction driven by a far-right ideology".paolo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 7:51 amfar right?

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said, "Their first reaction to a five-year-old child being stabbed was to burn our city, attack its businesses and assault our gardaí."
So blame them for their words.
