Peter Bone, who was removed as MP for the constituency for bullying and sexual misconduct has his partner standing as the Conservative candidate. Woo-hoo! Typical Conservatives. What a shiftiest this bi-election's going to be.

It would be hilarious if UK Reform wins.

Dug this out from an online social report report about North Northamptonshire in which Wellingborough falls and it looks quite recent.

The population of North Northamptonshire is fairly diverse - the only reliable source of data on ethnicity comes from the 2001 Census (KS06). The Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) population of North Northamptonshire is 4% (compared to national average of 9%). The largest non-White British groups are White Other (includes Irish) and the Asian or Asian British categories. 11,598 people in North Northamptonshire regard themselves as non-white. The BME population in North Northamptonshire districts ranges from a high of 9.2% in Wellingborough to a low of 1.6% in Corby. The largest ethnic group in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough is Asian. In East Northamptonshire, the largest ethnic group is Mixed. Anecdotal evidence also suggests an increasing number of people of Eastern European origin in the area, although there are no official statistics to back this up.

Ethnic make up doesn't seem to be a problem there, so not sure why the cancer that's called Reform UK is darkening that constituency. I don't know anything about Wellinborough other than it being somewhere off the M43, between the M40 and M1 so can't really comment.

"Reform have a strong candidate"
Oh really.

There is not the remotest chance of Reform winning.

He's right though

What we got/have is worse than remaining. As we said 8 years ago.
