Many private hospitals don't have specialised caner departments, Charles is most likely to be treated at the best cancer hospital which just happens to be Mount Vernon and he's in London.

My comments were meant to show the difference between how some people are treated as opposed to others.
I speak a someone whose husband died from prostate canter, 4 hospitals missed it, I got the diagnosed on the 4th December, he died on the 4th Feb, it was his anniversary yesterday, so perhaps I'm not too thrilled that he was Mr Smith down the road who didn't matter.
I'm sorry if my comments were harsh, my father in law died from covid, and I still don't get how horribly we as a family were treated

I should just say, I’m truly sorry that you lost your husband and I didn’t mean to cause you any upset. If I’d known that beforehand I wouldn’t have been quite so flippant with my comments.
No probs Sadact, shit happens, but one thing for sure, Charlie boy wont be subject to the sheer incompetence shown by 4 hospitals, even the world famous Royal Free missed it, and flipping 'eck, he'd been in there for enlarged prostate problems 3 times.
If the London Borough of Barnet isn't in London where is it?

No Worries Chelsea, shit happens, and it's the uncaring way one is treated by many who are supposed to be in the caring profession.
I wont go into it, but suffice to say you become a case not a person, you aren't expected to have any feelings or emotions, and the way they treat the person they are supposed to be caring for, well, it it was a dog the RSPCA would take criminal action against you.

Wouldn't wish illness on him, however.

Hours of it on TV. Just repeat repeat infinitum. Showing the Coronation again, the crowds filing past Liz in her coffin, wtf has that got to do with the news that Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. All they really needed to do was announce it in the next news bulletin, not stop the current programme and go on about it for hours.

Easy, cheap TV though, isn't it?
Just endless speculation about his condition, next steps etc
Cheap to make and ardent royalists will lap it up.

It's mad. Yes, he has cancer. Any updates? No? Fine, let's move on for a bit.

Cant disagree with any of the comments made this morning.
It's all speculation, 'a form of cancer' but not prostate cancer, well, I know they want to keep his health problems private, most people would, but having announced 'a form of cancer' all they've done is fuel speculation.
Same with Kate, 'planned abdominal surgery' which needed 2 weeks in hospital and several months recovery, again, I appreciate the desire for privacy, but if she's had a hysterectomy, just flipping say so, there's no shame in it and and the coverage just might go a tiny way to removing some of the old wives tales about it.

Media websites are chokka. They even have sections about 'what is cancer' 'how is cancer diagnosed' etc.

As Lambers said, all that is needed from now on is updates if anything changes, we've got the picture.
